LUMETerms of Use
These terms govern your use of LUME. By creating an account you agree to them. They are deliberately short: the service is simple and we do not want obligations hidden in fine print.
1. What LUME is
LUME delivers one Christian devotional message per day, with a scripture anchor, a short reflection and an archive of previous messages. It is content for personal edification, not professional advice of any kind — psychological, medical, legal or financial.
The service is offered by conhecendotudo.com.br.
2. Your account
The account is optional: without it you read, save favourites on this device and get reminders. It lets you find your favourites on other devices, and you can create it with e-mail and password or with Sign in with Apple. In creating one, you state that the information is yours and truthful, and that you are at least 18 years old or hold your legal guardian’s consent.
With e-mail and password, your password is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorised access, use "Sign out of all devices" in Settings to revoke every session immediately, and contact the data protection officer at the address in the Privacy Policy. This version of the app does not yet offer self-service password change; until it does, session revocation is the available control.
3. Acceptable use
Use LUME for personal, devotional reading. You may not: automate access to scrape the collection in bulk, attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, redistribute the content as your own, or use the service to harass, defraud or break the law.
The image produced in Share Studio is for personal use. It contains only the date, title, scripture anchor and the closing line — never the full devotional body.
4. Content and intellectual property
The devotional texts, the visual identity, the LUME name and the software are protected by copyright and belong to conhecendotudo.com.br or to those who licensed them to us.
Quoted scripture belongs to the respective translations and is used as reference.
You keep the right to share, on your own networks, the images the app itself generates for that purpose.
5. Price
On the App Store, for iPhone and iPad, LUME is sold for a one-time payment, at the price shown on the app page before purchase. That payment gives access to every daily message and the archive, with no subscription, no in-app purchases and no ads.
On other platforms nothing is charged inside LUME; if another store starts selling it, the price will be the one it shows before purchase.
Purchase, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store rules; refund requests go to Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, without prejudice to your rights under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, including withdrawing from the purchase within 7 days (Art. 49). We do not receive your card or transaction details.
If anything is ever charged separately, its price and conditions will be presented before any charge, and nothing you already paid for will stop working because of it.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available, but it is offered as is, without a warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If a discontinuation is material and affects your data, we will give reasonable notice so that you can export it.
7. Termination
You may end the relationship at any time, without reason, using "Delete my account" under Settings › Privacy and data. Its effect on your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may terminate or suspend an account that breaches item 3, compromises the security of the service or of other people, or where the law requires it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms removes rights that Brazilian law, in particular the Consumer Defence Code, grants you and that cannot be waived.
9. Changes, governing law and contact
These terms are versioned and the current version appears on this screen. If a material change requires a new acceptance, we will ask for it before that change starts to apply to you.
